These are good guys

Recently a friend of ours and her family were vacationing in the Florida Keys. Their teenage son, like many kids, is into skateboarding.

Unfortunately for them, a delivery truck driver lost control going through an intersection, went up on the sidewalk and struck their son, who suffered a brain injury. No helmet.

After a lengthy stay in the hospital he is on his way to a full recovery, thank God.

However, the insurance company for the truck driver was balking at covering the rather high medical expenses. Everything was settled out of court, and all if now fine.
