Army loses another star

Due to liberal hounding over alleged abuses in the military prisons at Gitmo and Iraq, the army is losing one of its brightest stars, Maj Gen. Geoffrey D. Miller.

Official word is that the Army is "allowing him to retire" which is nothing more than being forced out.

His only crime was that he was "commander of the U.S. detention complex at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, when Pentagon officials selected him to lead a team to improve U.S.-run prisons in Iraq as the insurgency began to mushroom during the summer of 2003," according to published reports.

Another strike against him for the liberals was that he was favored by Don Rumsfeld. Why do we let this hounding of great military minds continue?

Liberals should shut up and let the Pentagon do its job.
